Page 1: The day the people stood up. - Flodesk

And the people refused to close their businesses, instead they opened them upfully, people went out, sat and had coffee, ate and listened to live music, shopped, travelled and lived freely as they had always done.

And the people tore down all the signs, they removed the nonsensical pavementmarkings, they took off their masks and they smiled and they laughed and theyrefused to stand apart from one another, they refused to be tested and theyrefused to be tracked.

The people met with their friends and their family members. Everyone carried onas if it had never happened. Theatres opened, places of worship opened, sportingand cultural events went ahead, everyone went out and lived!

And the police came in, and they threatened closures and they issued fines but thepeople were steadfast, they carried on without violence or anger, they refused tobe shut in their homes. They turned off their TVs and stopped reading thenewspaper and they refused to listen to the government, to big pharma and to themedia propaganda in general.

And it came about that the people began to understand that every year peopledie, every year people get sick and recover and every year those that feelvulnerable choose to stay at home until they feel better and those that arestronger take steps to shelter and support the vulnerable. They came toappreciate again the cycle of life and they were at peace with it.

The government sent in the army. But still thepeople refused to capitulate. They carried onliving. The citizens came together as one. Theyignored the government and the mediapropagandists. They stood up. And they spokeout. For humanity. For the children.

And the governments gave up.

They realised that the power of the people wastoo great. And this is how it came to pass thatsociety returned to normal.
