Rachel Beavers rst met Jeremy Holland at Cricket’s Draft house through mutual friends. It would be almost a year later before she would hear from him again; Thanks to Facebook for their reconnect! “Jeremy invited me to a bene t for a dear friend that had passed away. Knowing how important this way to him I gladly accepted the invite. After that night he and I were inseparable!”
AfterAfter the couples December 30th engagement, the wedding planing began! “I knew I wanted a fall wedding because it was my favorite time of year. The rst thing I had to decide was a venue. I narrowed my search based on approximate number of guests we anticipated. After looking at several locations we chose Barron’s on 5th”. With their venue settled, Rachel’s vision for their wedding started to develop. “I had always pictured my weddingwedding day an elegant and classy celebration with close family and friends” she says. Rachel had a difficult time trying to select owers and other decorations. That was until she was referred to Donna Roach at the Sherwood orist. “On our initial meeting she listened to my vision and asked a few questions but with enthusiasm swore I would not be disappointed!” The couple chose Kurt at Texas Variety Entertainment as their DJ for thethe ceremony and reception; “He helped select songs, appro-priate timing, helped make our reception fun and well orga-nized! He even came to rehearsal and played the selected music which was so helpful,” Rachel says. The most important thing to Rachel were the photographs. “I knew exactly who I wanted to use based on pictures I had seen before. We decided on Leaha Burgois with Popography out of Ft. Worth. She was absolutely wonderful and went above and beyond for us and captured the most natural and heart felt moments.”
“ I had considered hiring someone to do make-up for the bridal party but wasn't sure. My maid of honor and I attended the launch of The Texas Bride Guide at the Phoenix Ballroom where I met Kim Cutler and saw her work and immediately hired her for the big day. She came to Barron's and did our entire bridal party! Marilyn owner of Marilyn's also came to Barron's and styled each of our hair. Both of these ladies were a lifesaver andand created an elegant timeless look that we could have not done on our own. I am so thankful to them both. Our wedding day was exactly how I imagined. We are so blessed to have such amazing friends, family, and people who came together to make it an elegant and perfect celebration.”

Glen and Giselle met through mutual friends in early 2010. They spent time hanging out alone and with their children Hunter and Kenzie. After a trip to SeaWorld in June of 2010, they made it official and became a couple. Glen works on an oil rig off the shore of Brazil one month on, one month off. This made for a very interestingnteresting relationship--a lot of time missing each other, but also something new and fresh every other month. While taking the ups and downs into consideration, Glen and Giselle knew they wanted to spend the rest of their lives together. No surprises, the couple began looking at engagement rings in December of 2010 hoping for a Fall 2011 wedding.
ByBy May of 2011 Glen and Giselle had set a date, picked a theme and venue, and ordered Save-the-Dates, but Giselle, a wedding planner, was starting to feel a bit delusional. With all the wedding planning underway, Glen had yet to propose and she still had no ring. Really he was just waiting for a perfect time: He came home from the rig on June 26, her grandmother’s 75th birthday, birthday, right at a year from the time that they had first made their relationship official and proposed with a gorgeous ring. Their engagement was finally official. Ecstatic, the couple shared the news with their family and friends and the planning exploded with less than four months to their wedding date.
On October 21, 2011 Glen and Giselle were married at the Santa Fe Railroad & Heritage Museum in Temple joined by their children and 75 of their most-loved family and friends. With a vintage industrial theme the venue was perfect for their wedding. The ceremony was held outdoors in the gazebo followed by cocktail hour where guests enjoyed mixed drinks and beer at a self-served open bar. open bar. Photography By : Brenda Lanig Photoart

TheThe reception was held inside the historic train depot and was designed by the bride herself using Pendley Party Productions of Waco and some of her own antique pieces. Giselle also designed and created all of her bouquets and floral arrangements using white mums, limonium, snapdragons and alstromeria in addition to blue Ecuadorian roses and blackish purple carnations. AnItalian Restaurant in Temple catered the reception pairing spectacular mini-tostadasmini-tostadas and a plated italian dinner with red and white wines to give a very unique dining experience.
Created by Dora Eaton of Texas Howdy Bakery, their cake was a delicious three-tiered irish cream cake exquisitely decorated with a buttercream-fondant damask pattern.
As a special treat, the couple hired an instrumental band who per-formed during the ceremony and dinner. Following raspberry champagne toasts, the band played a sweet song for their perfectly romantic first dance. In coordination with the vintage industrial theme, Brenda Lanig of Brenda Lanig PhotoArt captured stunning photos of Glen and Giselle and their wedding party on the railroad tracks and antique trains from the late 19th century.
TheThe night concluded with the couple sharing kisses under a lamp on the veranda. With Glen as her groom and every detail planned to a tee, Giselle had the man of her dreams and had the wedding she had always dreamed of.

[ Makeup Artist: Kim Cutler ]
Kimberly Cutler Makeup artist serving over a hundred central Texas brides with 5 yrs experience and a background in photography and bridal makeup. Making brides and their party look themselves only better!
Makeup for your bridals and the day of your wedding are very a very crucial step in planning a wedding believe it or not.
Reasoning for seeking an artist: Your makeup should look awless and timeless for the fact that you will be in aa lot of pictures the entire day. Having your makeup done on location and treating your bridesmaids to getting their makeup done also is a great gift as well as a stress reliever for yourself and your party. This helps keep everyone together and everyone is able to relax. The bridesmaids already have matching hair, shoes, dress, jewelry so why not have their makeup in uniform as well, many girls may not be able to create the same look as another so this lets you know that everyone will look their best and your pictures are guaranteed to turnturn out there very best. Also you want to make sure you get a makeup that last from the rst kiss to the last dance.
Colorescience Mineral Makeup is rated one of the top mineral lines that has it all. It protects, corrects and covers! The application may be slightly more than what you normally are use to but that is to make sure that the photos turn out beautiful and you are not washed out. Colorescience plays a major part in photos as well due to the fact that it has light re ecting properties to it so that it eliminates a washed out look.
ItIt is also important to schedule a meeting with the makeup artist a few months ahead of time. This allows the artist to take a look at the skin and maybe suggest some products if your skin is breaking out or in need of some hydration. Colorescience is not only a makeup but a treatment too. If is a great everyday line and will get you thew all the parities and events occurring in the last few months preparing for your big day. Also some services to think about in preparation for the day: brow design, brightening peels, facials.preparation for the day: brow design, brightening peels, facials.
“I go above and beyond to make sure that my brides are comfortable and as relaxed as possible. I service not only the bride but her party and the mothers as well, provide false lashed and apply complementary, and provide a care package for the bride for any unexpected touching up and skin care for the honeymoon”.
