Testing report Date: 26/3/14
1. Purpose : On 22/3/14, TD received customer complaint from local customer. CBR decking delaminated
Rejected samples & good (non-installed) sample from same lot was returned to VB for testing.
2. Test method : 1) Hot water immersion (80⁰C water bath, 24 h)
2) Moisture content test (Dry oven 80⁰C, 48 h)
3) Density test (inhouse method) - water displacement method
4) Coating fusion test (Acetone)
3. Result : 1) Hot water immersion test:
No. Sample Judgement
1 CBR - R1 (reject) Failed
2 CBR - R2 (reject) Failed

4. Comment : 1) For hot water immersion test, all the rejected sample delaminate but the good sample (not
installed) not delaminate.
We suspect the reject sample is not same lot with the good sample (not-installed) due to
the color of inner looks different.
2)
3) Density of reject sample is slightly lower (3.5% lower) than good sample's density.
For coating fusion test, no significant appearance change was observed in all samples.
Fusion is considered good.
