Key Findings

• The states with the highest number of educators who allow students to use their own technology devices in the classroom were Iowa, Idaho, and Minnesota

• 48% of educators allow students to use their own technology in the classroom, and 80% say doing so increases student performance

• More than 1 in 3 educators email students as part of their learning platform

– 3 in 4 of educators who email students say that it affects their homework return rate

• 11% of educators text students as part of their learning platform
