Basic Blackboard Training
Ongoing Training
This training is for faculty who are new to Blackboard and is required
for all faculty teaching online and/or blended courses. This training is
ongoing so you may sign up for this course at any time.
NEW REQUIREMENT: ADDING LIBRARY LINK TO COURSE MENU
Beginning with Spring II and going forward, Distance Education would like to ensure that DE students have equal access to the same library resources as main campus students. In your course shells, here’s how to add the link:
1. Go into your Spring II course shell.
2. Click the + button in the top left hand corner of the Course Menu and choose “Create External Link.”
3. You will need to complete the required fields of Name and URL and check “Available to Users.”

URL: http://www.lib.campbell.edu/extended-campus-resources
4. Double check to ensure you have selected “Available to Users”
5. Click Submit.
6. Congratulations! Now your students will have a link for direct access to the library.
