The team was established in 2007 and, at that time, consisted of two female riders, Nadezda Yakhnich and Nataliya Lyubimova.During their first season, the team performed successfully in the Russian Road Racing Championship, taking first and second places.
By 2011 team riders were competing in challenging European championships (e.g. Campionato Italiano Velocità and the R6 Cup), with VladimirLeonov taking third place overall in the CIV.
In 2012 Yakhnich Motorsport competed in the Eni FIM World Supersport Championship. Vladimir Leonov rode well, taking 11th place overall.
One year later, 2013, Yakhnich Motorsport won the Supersport World championship title with Sam Lowes, with Vladimir Leonov improving totake 10th place overall.
In 2014 Yakhnich Motorsport raised their game yet again, becoming the official factory racing team «MV Agusta Reparto Corse-YakhnichMotorsport» which competes in both the World Superbike and World Supersport championships.
The Yakhnich Motorsport team
He began competing seriously at the age of just 7. In 2004 he
became vice-champion in the CIV Supersport class and the following
year moved up to the European Superstock 600 cc Cup class,
which he won. For four consecutive years he rode in the Super-
stock 1000 class of the World Superbike Championship, where he
was runner-up three times. In 2010 he moved to Moto2 where he
joined Jules Cluzel as teammate. In 2013 he competed in Moto GP.
In 2014, he is riding for the Yakhnich Motorsport MV Agusta
Reparto Corse team.

Claudio Corti(Superbike rider)
Started his career in motorsport at just 15 years of age and scored
his first victory the following year, taking third place overall in the
French Championship Junior Cup. From 2006 to 2011 he raced in
Moto GP in 125 cc, 250 cc and Moto2, winning at Silverstone in
2010. In 2012 he became vice-champion in the World Supersport
class, with 8 podiums and 4 wins. In 2014, he is riding for the
Yakhnich Motorsport MV Agusta Reparto Corse team.

Jules Cluzel(Supersport rider)
After a highly successful career in motocross, Vladimir began track
racing in 2005. In 2007 he made his debut in European Superstock
600 cc. He is the only Russian rider to compete in Moto GP in the
250 cc class. From 2010 to 2013 he has been riding for the Yakhnich
Motorsport team. In 2014, he is riding for the Yakhnich Motorsport
MV Agusta Reparto Corse team. He is Russia’s most successful
track racer.
