Instagram & Facebook• Snapchat isn’t for everyone. If you aren’t having fun with it don’t force it.
• Test out Instagram stories and Facebook Live• Instagram doesn’t have the engagement that Snapchat does.• There will be an update at some point to make it even better.• If you are going to Facebook Live, have it be longer than 5 minutes.
• You can’t chose a Facebook live Thumbnail so make sure you start it in the good position.
• If you can give advance notice to your followers for Facebook Live.• If you don’t think you can Snapchat or Instagram, holding people’s attention for even longer on Facebook will be tough.• Be prepared, have notes, get pre-asked questions ahead of time to answer live.• Interact with the audience but don’t get distracted by it.
• Which ever way you use any of the platforms they have a large value that you can bring to your blog and brand partnerships / press trips, etc.• Use them to promote your other work and use your work to promote them.
