Target Audience

Primary Audience

The primary audience for my film opening is going to be people over the age of 25. I believe that this is a suitable age for the film as they are the generation that is most likely to understand the differences between the two characters and may be able to relate with them due to past occurrences in their own lifetime.

The certificate for this film will be a 15. This is because it may contain some strong language later on and references that are not suitable for the younger generation.

Secondary Audience

The secondary audience of my film opening will be teenagers over the age of 15 up to the age of the main primary target audience. They are a lot less likely to go and see the film compared to the primary audience but there will be some content within the film that will draw their attention. The teenagers that are going to watch this film would be attracted to some of the dry humour that will be later on in the film. The opening of the film does not show any of this so they would have to persevere.
