Dear Parishioners,
Happy and Joyous Easter to all! Christ is Risen! The tomb is empty! It is the Lord! Alleluia! Jesus has conquered sin and death and opened for us the way to immortality. This long, long Lent is over and our Easter Season begins. While we are still committed to staying at home to defeat this virus, the Risen Lord enters through our locked doors to show himself and give us the renewed hope that he has prepared a better place for us. This hope reminds us that while we are away from that homeland on our earthly journey, we know the way there. The Risen Christ is the way, the truth and the life!
During these strange days the Lord is working so much good in our lives. We’ve rediscovered our families, priorities and faith. When we go with the disciples back out to our lives, jobs and regular activities, let us take the Spirit of the Risen Christ with us and boldly witness
the power of our faith at work in us who believe. For the time being we still have the opportunity to be with each other through our live stream masses and moments. While it’s been challenging ministering in this way, I know we’ve reached a lot of new people. Our parish might actually have grown during this time of crisis. We can’t go back but we can go better!
I want to thank all of you for your ongoing generosity during these days. Your witness and help to us and each other has been an amazing thing to behold. And, I personally want to thank Fr. Gonnella and Fr. Kladar for their incredible work. Serving with them has been inspiring to my priesthood. Please thank and pray for them.
God Bless you all this awesome Easter Day!
Love, Msgr. Deutsch
I can do all things in him who strengthens me.
A NOTE FROM OUR PASTOR 3

An Act of Spiritual Communion
My Jesus, I believe that You are present in the Most Holy Sacrament. I love You above all things, and I desire to receive You into my soul. Since I cannot at this moment receive You sacramentally, come at least spiritually into my heart. I embrace You as if You were already there and unite myself wholly to You. Never permit me to be separated from You.
Amen.
