ProjectinAvon.Playgroundsareaplaceforlaughter,friendsandfun...whereallchildrenandtheirfamiliescanplaytogetherregardlessoftheirabilities.
TheCityofAvonisheadingupacollaborativeefforttocreateanew,destinationplaygroundthatwillinspirekidstoforegotheir“screens”andgetoutandplay.Thegoalistocreateamulti-acrespacenexttothenewAquaticCenterthatisaccessibletoallkidsregardlessofability,andthatwillcreatemeaningfulplayopportunitiesforallchildren.
Theeventcommitteeisprojectingattendancewillbebetween700-
1,000peoplewithopportunitiesforbothchildrenandadultstoenjoythemselvesandallthatsummerhastooffer.
