Subject
• The SUBJECT of a sentence names the person or thing spoken about in the rest of the sentence.
Complete Subject
• The COMPLETE SUBJECT includes all the words that tell who or what is doing the action in a sentence.
• EX: My dog is playing with a ball.
Simple Subject
• The SIMPLE SUBJECT is the main word or words in the complete sentence.
• It is a NOUN.
• EX: My dog is playing with a ball.
