Develop framing plan
Mark Grids, like A, B, C along the x-axis and 1, 2, 3
along the y-axis
Mark all the beams as B1, B2, B3, B4 and so on
Mark Columns as C1, C2, C3, C4 and so on
Develop elevation view for the structural
elements in the building

Design the slabs as per ACI (13.5.1.1) and
calculate loads using ASCE 7 and the load
combinations in Table 1.2 of ACI 318.
