The Rev. Bill Poulos Funeral DetailsThe Rev. Poulos' funeral will be at 2 pm, August 24 at Phillips Chapel on the Canterburyschool campus (5400 Old Lake Jeanette Rd. Greensboro 27455).

The position will be advertised within the Diocese and nationally through the Office ofTransition Ministry. Please feel free to share this link with friends and family and onsocial media. We will be receiving application materials from interested clergy throughSeptember 30. Please pray for the Search Committee and for all those who feel called toministry at St. Andrew’s.

Wednesday Chapel ServicesThe Wednesday Chapel service will resume September 4 at noon.
Blessing of the Backpacks, August 25It’s that time of year for school to begin. In support of our children and their parents,please bring your children’s backpack and start the year off right with a blessing. Wewill also collect school supplies for Lindley Elementary. A box will be in the Narthex forthe collection. This will happen on August 25 at the 10 am service in the church. If youhave questions, please contact Anna Taylor at [email protected].

Travel to the Holy Land: Registration Ends September 3The Diocese of North Carolina is planning a pilgrimage to the Holy Land January 27 -February 7, 2020 led by the Rt. Rev. Anne Hodges-Copple, the Rev. Sally French andthe Rev. David Umphlett. The journey will include visits to Jerusalem, Bethlehem andGalilee. The all-inclusive tour cost is $4,395 per person, including airfare. A $500deposit is due by September 3.
