CHAMPIONSHIP SUMMARY
• Extreme E is an all new electric SUV motorsports series.
• Five events per year in extreme off road locations to showcase eSUV performance and to highlight climate change challenges.
• Knockout style team racing, involving men and women racing on an equal platform.
• Short tracks of up to 10km long.

TEAMS AND DRIVERSCHAMPIONSHIP
• Eight Championship teams. Each team will have two drivers: One male and one female.
• Teams may use up to three different male and three different female drivers in each season.
• Team Championship: All five rounds count towards the final Championship standings.
• Drivers Championships: Up to 4 of the 5 rounds count towards the final Championship standings in the Drivers’ Championships. If a driver competes in five rounds they drop their lowest score.

RACE WEEKEND FORMAT
• Two days of racing – Saturday and Sunday. One full battery charge per day for each team.
• Each team races twice on Saturday, in Qualifying 1 and Qualifying 2.
• Semi-Final 1 and Semi-Final 2 (Crazy Race) and Final on Sunday.
• Each race is two laps – one lap driven by the female and one lap driven by the male.
• All results based on race finishing position, not time.

• Choice of starting position for Qualifying 1 based on lottery.
• Saturday event points for each race (for calculation of Sunday starting positions):• 1st: 3 points
• 2nd: 2 points
• 3rd: 1 point
• 4th: 0 points
• Top four point scorers after Saturday races qualify for Semi-Final 1 and bottom four qualify for Semi-Final 2 (Crazy Race).

POINTS SYSTEM
• Championship points awarded after Final:• 1st: 20 points
• 2nd: 15 points
• 3rd: 10 points
• 4th: 5 points
• 5th: 4 points
• 6th: 3 points
• 7th: 2 points
• 8th: 1 point
• Bonus point: 1 Championship point awarded for the longest jump of the weekend.
• Hyperdrive: additional power granted to the team who performs longest jump on the first jump of each race. Hyperdrive power can be used byt hat team at any point in the race.
