Spaces There are two types of spaces in the House of Pavilions, Interlocking spaces and spaces within spaces. Interlocking spacial relationship results from the overlaping of two spatial elds and the emergance of a zone of shared space. Space within a space results from an enveloping space serving as a three-dimensional eld for the smaller space within it.

CirculationCirculation is the path that an individual follows. A person can either be forced to go in a certain direction by the space, or there can be dierent openings and paths allowing you to go in dierent directions.

Adjacent SpacesAdjacent space allows each space to be clearly dened and to respond , each in its own way, to specic functional or symbolic requirements. In a house the adjacent spaces would be the private spaces, such as bedrooms and bathrooms.
