The Academy is sponsored by South
Nottingham College. The College’s mission
statementis
“SuccessT

which South Nottinghamshire Academy has
adopted. South Nottingham College is one of
the region’s top performing FE Colleges and
OFSTED identified that the college has an
impressive track record for working in
partnership with schools for the benefit of
young people locally. The College’s
commitment to supporting young people
at the Academy can already be seen both in
terms of improvements to the estate and an
increase in the breadth of the curriculum
on offer.
The results in 2012 illustrate the continuing
success of the Academy with 73% receiving
A-C grades and every single student achieving
their first or second choice of university place.
We hope you find the information in the
brochure both interesting and useful.
Please do not hesitate to contact me should
you need any further information.
