The So.Re.Com. THEmatic NETwork Editorial Activities
The flagship journal of the scientific community of social representations, Papers on Social
Representations (PSR) has two new chief editors: Eleni Andreouli and Gordon Sammut -
who have both been very active in supporting PSR and the social representations more
generally for quite some time.
Caroline Howarth will be still involved but is stepping down from her formal role of chief
editor after 7 happy and fulfilling years. PSR has really gone from strength to strength - with a
solid history of two special issues and some individual submissions each year. The healthy
state of PSR reflects a vibrant and forward-looking community.
Thanks to the hard work of the editorial team (Gail Moloney, Susana Batel, Juliet Foster,
Wolfgang Wagner and Claudine Provencher) it have just been accepted by Scopus to
have PSR indexed in their database. It is also indexed by EBSCO and are working on other
indexing sites.
PSR also has two new Associate Editors - Cathy Nicholson and Jane Roberts, who
previously were Editorial Assistants and did sterling work formatting and uploading all the
papers, and dealing with endless queries.
And it has two new Editorial Assistants - Amena Amer and Sandra Obradovic, taking over
from Jane and Cathy, who are already contributing actively to supporting and improving the
journal.
Without such a good team, PSR would never have flourished the way it has.
Many sincere thanks to Caroline Howarth and the Editorial Team!
