Fairchild provides a full-color spectrum of low-power and high-brightness surface mount LEDs for illumination, backlighting and status indications applications. Small size and low power consumption make Fairchild’s LED family ideal for cell phones.
Advantages• Compact, surface-mount LEDs • Choice of colors—red, pink, blue, amber, and white• Wide range of VF choices• Low voltage operation for low power consumption (Vf ≤ 3.15V @ 5mA)• Narrow forward voltage range (2.75 to 3.15V)• Better color and brightness consistency

Fairchild’s LED drivers save space, reduce part count, and provide uniform brightness. These LED drivers can regulate the LEDs either directly from the battery or through a DC/DC converter, and come in small (SC-70, MLP, and TSOT) packages to fulfill even the smallest PCB area requirements.
