Maximum power consumption in 2017:

Main low voltage switchgear for:

Service Gallery , Storage Ring: 576 kW

Building A , C and Beamlines: 391 kW

Technological Tunnel and Injector: 248 kW

Cooling and Office Building B : 656 kW

Maximum total active power : 1.87 MW

Average power consumption: 989 kW

Possible upgrades of electrical systems:

1.Diesel generator with 15m3 fuel tank – to eliminate maintenance periods, another redundant.

2.Redundant UPS for IT with switchgear – to eliminate power shortages during maintenance.

STORAGE RING STATUS

A good performance of the Solaris light source has been achieved.

The beam ramping from 525 MeV to 1.5 GeV is done without losses.

 The injection efficiency is 30%.

The optics was corrected close to the design one. However some adjustments are still needed.

The beta functions measurements revealed a beta beating of several % in both planes.

Tuning of the Landau cavities improved the Touschek lifetime by factor of 3 and cured some instabilities.

The closed orbit can be restored from injection to injection with tens of microns range.

Temperature oscillations in the range of 1.5oC in the storage ring have impact on beam stability.
