The Center to Champion Nursing in America (CCNA)launched the The Future of Nursing: Campaign for

Action social media accounts in May 2013.

CCNA collaborated with the Robert Woods JohnsonFoundation and AARP to build an organic following.

In October 2013 CCNA launched a four month socialadvertising campaign to increase the visibility of the

Campaign for Action and the 51 State ActionCoalitions. As of May 1st the Campaign has

established a network of over 40,000 followers.

YEAR IN REVIEWCCNA successfully used social media to build a large Campaign for Actionnetwork of followers and significantly increased its engagement and reach.

Social advertising increased the Campaign's reach by 20% and engagementby 126% in the fourth quarter.

Social media also contributed to increasing traffic to the Campaign forAction website by 45% and increased subscribers to the community by 41%.

Reach includes potential impressions, confirmed impressions from network, ads, mentions, shares, and retweets.
