• NSDA is an autonomous body of Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship formed on 6th June, 2013
• Will anchor the National Skills Qualifications Framework (NSQF) & facilitate the setting up of professional certifying bodies
• Will coordinate and harmonize the approach to skill development among various Central Ministries/Departments, State Governments, the NSDC and the private sector;
• Will act as a nodal agency for State Skill Development Missions• Will evaluate existing skill development schemes to assess their efficacy
and suggest corrective action
