SHELTER SETUP INSTRUCTIONS

Before you begin• Readallinstructionsbeforesetup.• Selectalevelsiteclearofrocks,branches,andotherhardorsharpobjects,toinstallyourshelter. WARNING: Keep clear of overhead power lines.

• Donotsetupyourshelterundertreesbecauseofpotentiallightningstrikesorfallingtreelimbsininclementweather.

• Securewithallpegsandguylinesprovidedtopreventpropertydamageorpersonalinjury.

• Forbestresultsinwindyconditions,positionnarrowendofshelterintothewind.

• Donotdropshelter.• Donotbounceshelterbagonitsendtoremoveshelter,astheseactionsmaydamagetheframe.

• THISRECREATIONALPRODUCTREQUIRESAMINIMUMOFTWOPEOPLETOASSEMBLE.

• Undernocircumstancesshouldthisproductbeusedtocoverautomobiles,marineproductsorsimilaritems.

CAUTION: Avoidpinchpointswhenopeningandclosingtheshelterframe.

Extend the Shelter Frame•Withtwopersonsstandingatdiagonalcornersofthestructure,grabtheleg,andpullouttounfoldframe.(Fig.1)NOTE:Donotunfoldframecompletely.Thiswillalloweasierfitfordrapingsheltertopoverframe.

Set up the Shelter• Drapesheltertopoverframe.(Fig.2)• Attachnylonfasteners,locatedoncornersofsheltertop,tofourcornersofframepost.(Fig.2A)

HANDY TIP: Tofullyengagethepushbutton,gripthetopandbottomframemembersandsqueezeasshowninFig.3A.Becarefultoavoidpinchpoints.

• Pullupslidingbracketlocatedonupperportionofleguntilpushbuttonsnapsintoplace.(Fig.3)Thiswillensuretopofframeisfullyextended.

•Adjustdesiredheightuntilpushbuttonlocksintoplace,makingsureallfourpostsarelevel.(Fig.6&7)

•Secureshelterbydrivingpegsthroughtheholesinthebaseofeachframepost.(Fig.8)

7 WARNING: KEEP ALL FLAME AND HEAT SOURCES AWAY FROM

THIS TENT FABRIC.Things You Should Know:• Undercertainconditions(coldweather,highhumidity,etc.)condensationwillformontheinsideofyourshelter.Condensationiscausedbywatervaporfromyourbreath,perspiration,oranywetclothinginsidetheshelter.ItisNOTLEAKAGE throughtheshelterfabric.

• Treelimbs,treesap,birddroppings,ormoisturesteadilydrippingofftreelimbscancausedamagetotheshelterfabricanditscoatingresultinginleaksorlossofflame-resistantproperties.

• Neverstoreshelter,evenforashortperiodoftime,withoutdryingit thoroughlyandbrushingoffcakeddirt.Donotpackpegsinsideyourshelter.Useaseparatestoragebag.

• Pegsshouldberemovedbypullingonthepegitself.NEVERPULLONTHESHELTERTOREMOVEPEGSASTHISCOULDRESULTINPROPERTYDAMAGEORPERSONALINJURY.

• Donotleaveyourshelterset-upforweeksatatime.Beawarethatexposuretoultravioletraysfromthesuncanseriouslydamagematerialand/orcauseittobecomediscolored.

• Thisproductisnotintendedtobeusedduringheavyrain,wind,hail,snoworotherinclementweather.Excesswaterbuild-upcancausetheframesystemtobecomeunstable,andpossiblycollapse,causinginjury.

• Thesheltertop,screen,andsunwall(ifincluded)shouldbecarefullyremovedduringwindyconditionstoavoiddamagetoproductorpersonalinjury.

• DONOTusegasorflamesourcesunderornearthisproduct.

ThistentmeetstheflammabilityrequirementsofCPAI-84.Thefabricmayburnifleftincontinuouscontactwithanyflamesource.Theapplicationofanyforeignsubstancetothetentfabricmayrendertheflame-resistantpropertiesineffective.
