Project GO (Global Officers) provides scholarships to eligible ROTC
students for critical languages study domestically and abroad.
Project GO offers ROTC students:• Language scholarships
• Fully-funded study abroad programs
• Summer and academic year programs at
major U.S. universities
• No additional service commitment
• Academic credit
• Eligibility for language incentive pay

WHAT LANGUAGES CAN I STUDY?
San Diego State University Project GO Summer program supports the study of
languages designated critical to national security by the US government.

In order to be eligible, at the time of application, an applicant must be:
1. A U.S. citizen.2. An undergraduate or graduate student on
track to commission through the Army, Naval, or Air Force Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (ROTC), contracted or non-contracted, at a regionally accredited college or university in the United States.
ELIGIBILITY: DOMESTICNewly commissioned officers awaiting active duty, drilling members of the National Guard or Reserve, and Army Green to Gold members are eligible to participate in Project GO domestic programs only.

Overseas Participants:In order to be eligible to participate in a Project GO overseas program, for the duration of the program successful applicants must:1. Remain in ROTC for the duration of the
program.2. Not be commissioned officers.3. Be in an inactive, non-drilling status.4. Not be employed by the U.S. federal
government or any foreign government.
