ABOUT THE SCHOOL OF PUBLIC AFFAIRS
Public affairs has been taught at Sciences Po since its founding.
The School of Public Affairs was established as its own school in
2015.
In addition to university professors, courses at the School of Public
Affairs are taught by high-level practitioners from the fields of
politics, diplomacy, academia, economics, and law, among others.
You will be taking classes within the school’s two 2-year master’s
degrees: the Master in Public Policy and the Master in European
Affairs.

THE GLOBAL PUBLIC POLICY NETWORK (GPPN)
Founded in 2005, GPPN is a network of 7 top public affairs schools from around the
world. GPPN programs include:
Dual Degrees & Exchange between all 7 partner schools.
Annual Conference: hosted every year by a different school in the network, the latest
conference, was held in Paris in February, brought together nearly 150 students
presenting 32 projects/solutions to the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), all
competing to win the GPPN Prize.
SDG Professional Certificate: A new one-year program that will allow students to
develop entrepreneurial skills, work with public policy students from GPPN partner
universities, and showcase their projects to an international audience of academics,
practitioners and policymakers.

MASTER IN PUBLIC POLICY
- Students follow first-year courses at Sciences Po and second-
year courses at GraSPP.
- Please note that dual degree students in this program are not
allowed to take a gap year between the first year at Sciences Po
and second year at GraSPP as per agreement of both
universities.
