(NAOCE)
Over the years, the school of NAOCE has been undertaking many important research programs of the country, such as“973 project”,“863 project”, national natural science foundation programs, and so on. Besides, the school also carries on a lot of cooperative projects with famous enterprises around the world.Since the year 1979, our research achievements have covered key technologies of Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering, Engineering Mechanics, Civil Engineering, Architecture, and International Shipping. NAOCE currently hosts and maintains many large scale facilities, including such as 3000-metre-deep underwater equipment, Marine mineral resources development and ocean engineering equipment. Apart from that, NAOCE International Summer School has been providing excellent opportunities for students to learn about the latest theories and applications on naval architecture, ocean engineering and mechanics through academic and cultural immersion since 2009. It attracted more than 300 students from all around the world each year.
