ScHARR February 2015 Even better news

Our newest arrivals Matches In this Valentine’s month we

have to mention the

epidemic of CRG

engagements and upcoming

weddings.

Karen Houghton and her

fiancé Alex will tie the knot

next month, followed two

months later by Lindsay

Ackroyd and fiancé Ian.

Wedding bells also will be

heard in April next year for

Janine Linley and her fiancé

Tony.

Finally, congratulations to

Uzzie Laubscher who ended

Christmas Day by accepting

an offer she couldn’t refuse

from teacher Ian McDaid.

Obviously, if you like

wedding cake, the first floor

open plan is the place to

visit. On Secondment Stephanie Haslam , IKT &

Consultancy, is on

secondment to the Sheffield

Healthcare Gateway project

for three days each week

until May.

Steph is in ScHARR on

Mondays and Fridays. Email

[email protected]

and another member of the

team will respond on the

days that Steph is out of

ScHARR.

what’s she’s working on up in

Barber House.

Stuff and nonsense in Regent Court Common Room

We now have dominoes and a

jigsaw, and a (non-electronic!)

Mastermind game and

KerPlunk have been promised

for the 2nd floor common

room in Regent Court. Other

games and activities will join

them. If anyone has

abandoned or forgotten

games they could donate for

the edification of staff lunch

hours in Regent Court or in

the Innovation Centre they

will be gratefully received.

Watch out for a new web page

with news of challenges and

tournaments, as well as more

details about stories in this

newsletter.

Opportunities

The Working Better Together groups are now

under the care of the Staff Development Group and

will be looking for volunteers to help with the

projects that have been agreed by Exec. More

information about what has happened so far, what is

planned and how you can get

involved with the projects will be

available at the Staff Training Day on

25th March.

Get involved This is the first edition of the

ScHARR monthly social

newsletter. We want to share

news and achievements of the

people here in ScHARR. If

anything’s happening that

others may find interesting - or

want to join in - send details to

[email protected]
