Creating the Sales Target Report
This slideshow explains how to setup and view the sales performance (actual sales achieved vs target set) of sales persons
The Zoho Reports Advanced Analytics add-on for Zoho CRM offers an easy way to do this
Steps to be followed:o Define a 'Sales Person Target' table with names of sales
persons and their monthly/yearly targetso Create a SQL query that joins the 'Potentials' table with
the 'Sales Person Target' tableo Create a pivot view over this query table that will show
the sales persons' names with their actual and set targets

Define a query table joining the sales persons' names and their sales targets, with actual sales done in 'Potentials' table

SELECT p."Potential Name" "Potential Name", p."Potential Owner" "Potential Owner", p."Amount" "Amount", spt."Monthly Target" "Monthly Target", p."Closing Date" "Closing Date", p."Stage" "Stage" FROM "Potentials" p inner join "Sales Person Target" spt on spt."Name" = p."Potential Owner" and p."Stage" ='Closed Won'
The above select query maps a sales person's ('Potential Owner') actual sales from the 'Potentials' table ('Amount' that is 'Closed Won') with his/her sales target ('Monthly Target' column in 'Sales Person Target' table)

Let's now create a pivot view (or chart) over the query table we constructed, comparing the monthly sales target with the last month's actual sales

Drag 'Potential Owner' to the 'Rows' shelfHave 'Monthly Target' (make sure 'Avg' function is chosen) and 'Amount' in 'Data' shelf

In 'Filters', drag and drop 'Closing Date', choose the function as 'Relative' and check 'Last Month'

The final pivot view will be as above. It shows the monthly target vs the actual sales last month, of each sales person

Similarly to monthly, you can do for yearly or quarterlyFor 'Yearly', modify the query table accordingly
