Dr. Lingam Gopal and Dr. L. Vijaya visited
Sadguru Netra Chikitsalaya, Shri Sadguru Seva
Sangh Trust, Chitrakoot. They were given an
overview of the various units and services of the
Chikitsalaya. Dr. Gopal and Dr. Vijaya were felic-
itated by Dr. B.K. Jain, Director & Trustee,
SSSST, Dr. Alok Sen, Medical Superintendent,
SNC and Dr. Elesh Jain, Administrator, Sadguru
Netra Chikitsalaya. Dr. Gopal and Dr. Vijaya de-
livered lecture as well as interacted with Retina
and Glaucoma Fellows on the subject. Sadguru Netra Chikitsalaya and Sankara
Nethralaya plan to have research collaborations in the future.
They also praised the humanitarian work being done by the Trust and gave their best
wishes to the entire team
Shri Sadguru Seva Sangh Trust conducted Gram-Uday Mahila eye examination programme in all the blocks of satna district where all the women above 35 years of age were examined, operated and were provided spectacles free of cost. In Majghava block of Satna District, 50000 children upto the age of 18 years were examined and around 1,000 children got benefitted either by free operation or were provided spectacles free of cost.

DIABETIC RETINOPATHY SCREENING CAMP, 21st May, 2017
Sadguru Netra Chikitsalaya, Chitrakoot organized
four advanced Diabetic Retinopathy screening camp
through Tele-Mobile Ophthalmic Van. Diabetic
Retinopathy is one of the major causes for blindness.
The purpose of this camp was to provide advanced
retinal check-up to the underserved section of the
rural population at their door steps. Many patients
were benefitted by the camp and were referred to
base hospital, Sadguru Netra Chikitsalaya, Chitrakoot
for further treatment

had an overview of the history of the Trust, work
done in eye-care till date and a discussion on
partnership with Orbis along with achievements of
REACH (Refractive Error Among Children) project.
They had an interactive meet with Sadguru team,
headed by Dr. B.K. Jain, Director & Trustee and Dr.
Elesh Jain, Administrator, SNC.
Shri Sadguru Seva Sangh Trust Jankikund Chikitsalaya, Chitrakoot celebrated World Health Day on April 7, 2017. This year, as a part of the World Heath Day celebration, WHO was focused mainly on `Depression’, the leading cause of ill health and disability worldwide. In line with the theme, a solo play centering around `Depression’ was staged by the Trust highlighting mainly on students who fail in their exams and thereby commit suicide. It also touched upon various causes of depression, its treatment and prevention.

Saxena, Chief Cancer Surgeon, Jawaharlal Nehru Cancer Hospital & Research Centre, Bhopal (M.P.), Dr. (Mrs.) Neelu Mahrotra, Dr. Mahesh Pal Singh and the team offered their valuable services. 32 patients were registered and benefited by the cancer screening camp. Dr. O.P. Sharma emphasized that 90% Cancer can be treated if reported to doctors at an early stage.

Every year our nation requires about 5 Crore units of blood, out of which only a meager 2.5 Crore units of blood are available. In its continuous effort to create awareness Shri Sadguru Seva Sangh Trust Celebrated World Blood Donation Day on 14th June 2017 at Jankikund Chikitsalaya, Chitrakoot. This year’s World Blood Donation day message was 'Give blood, Give now, Give often.' Almost 8 units of blood were donated by donors to Sadguru blood bank. Staff members of Amar Ujala Foundation, a highly reputed newspaper in Uttar Pradesh, participated in blood donation drive and also donated blood.

Jain shared their views on importance of Gau Mata in Indian culture. Vow was taken by all to take care and protect the cows. Shri Sadguru Gau-Seva Kendra serves nearly 1200+ cows in-house. training by experts so that they become Self-reliant proud women.

2017. Lifeline Express or Jeevan Rekha Express is World's first hospital train developed in
collaboration with the Indian Railways, Health Ministry and Impact India Foundation. Out of the
total 93 ophthalmic surgeries performed at the Lifeline Express 21 were performed by SSNC
Team.

Chikitsalaya (SSNC) on 17th June 2017. During his
short visit, Dr. Vashist interacted with ophthal-
mologists and delivered a talk on Community
Ophthalmology which was well received by the
technical staff and community workers. He
praised the efforts of SSNC in combating blindness and provided valuable inputs for its outreach

A Cancer Screening Camp was orga-
nized at Sadguru Sankalp Chikitsalaya
(SSC) Anandpur on 20th May 2017. Dr.
O.P. Saxena, Sr. Consultant and Dr.
Neelu Mehrotra, Consultant from Ja-
waharlal Nehru Cancer Hospital, Bho-
pal examined the patient. FNAC and
Biopsy were taken for the suspected
patients. The camp was inaugurated in the presence of trustees of SSSST - Dr. Vishnu Jobanputra
and Shri Goverdhan Upadhyay; Dr. Rakesh Sharma, SDM Lateri and SSC staff. Around 70 patients
were examined while 11 FNAC Test were performed through the camp. Dr. O.P. Saxena also
delivered a talk on Cancer Prevention and Harmful effects of Tobacco which was well received by
the audience.

“Paduka Pujan” on Param Pujya Gurudev Shri Ranchoddasji
Maharaj Punyatithi (9th April) was performed at Prarthna
Bhawan wherein members from Sadguru Family took the
blessings. Smt Bhartibahan Jobanputra in her note depicted
the journey of SSSST and values guiding the mission. The
congregation was also addressed by Shri Suresh Upadhyay, Dr.
S. S. Tripathi and other senior members from the family.

Shri Ramdas Hanuman Mandir, Anandpur celebrated the “Janm
Mahotsav”. Special Puja and Bhandara was also organized at “Shri
Mahabali Maruti Nandan, Kaharpura” which completed its one year
of establishment. The bhandara was attended by Trustees of SSSST
Dr. Vishnu Jobanputra and Shri Goverdhan Upadhyay. Smt Mamta
Meena, MLA Chachoda also joined the celebrations along with the
sadguru members. Around 7000 people took prashada at the
Bhandara.
SHRI HANUMAN JAYANTI CELEBRATION, 11th APRIL 2017
The first ever Sadguru Sankalp Premier League was organized
from 18th April-6th May 2017 at SSSST Anandpur. In all 09
teams participated in the tournament including one female
team whose performance was appreciated by the spectators.
The final match of the First Edition of SSPL was played on 6th
May 2017 between ORC and Star Eleven in presence of
Trustees – Dr. Vishnu Jobanputra and Shri Goverdhan
Upadhyay who awarded the winning team and best players in
various sphere of the game. The first ever SSPL Cup was lifted by Star Eleven.
SADGURU SANKALP PREMIER LEAGUE, 18th APRIL – 6th MAY 2017
Eleven couples from impoverished families were tied into
knot at a Collective Marriage Ceremony organized on the
occasion of Akshaya Tritiya on 29th April 2017 by Shri
Sadguru Seva Sangh Trust Anandpur. The function began
with Guru-Pujan performed by Shri Goverdhan Upadhyay,
Trustee SSSST in delightful presence of Su. ILabahan
Jobanputra; Shri Harishbhai Bhagdev; Shri Mukeshbhai
Sheth and other members from sadguru family. The
beneficiary couples were gifted with Utensils; Clothes,
Electronic goods; Jewelries etc.

Under the Golden Jubilee Celebrations of Shri Sadguru Seva
Sangh Trust, a Kisan Sammelan was organized at Anandpur from
3-4 June 2017. Agriculture expert Shri Bharat Dogra from Akhil
Bhartiya Samaj Seva Sansthan, Chitrakoot interacted with
farmers and educated them about Zero Budget Farming. He also
emphasized on organic agriculture and mix cropping as the only

KISAN SAMMELAN, 3 - 4th JUNE 2017
World Environment Day was celebrated at Anandpur on 5th June
2017. A massive tree plantation initiative was launched on the
occasion by Dr. Vishnu Jobanputra, Trustee SSSST. Under this initiative
trees in huge numbers will be planted at various locations by the trust.
Community and individual ownership to sustain the planted trees is a
special feature of this program which is tuned with the theme of World
Environment Day 2017 – “Connect With Nature”. Dr. Vishnu on the
occasion appealed everybody to take care of earth by saving natural
resources and become an agent of change.
