ROTHWELL CAMPUSSENIOR SCHOOLCO-CURRICULAR OVERVIEW
FROM THE HEAD OF SENIOR SCHOOLYour child has now reached Senior School and becoming a young
adult. As part of their journey you are hoping that they place a renewed
or continued focus on their studies. The temptation at this stage of their
education is to reduce or eliminate all other activities in order to focus
solely on their studies, and yet current research tells us that students
who are involved in co-curricular activity benefit academically as well as
culturally, spiritually and physically. It is all about balance.
In this booklet you will find a list of the co-curricular activities at Grace
Lutheran College for our Senior students. If your young person has not
taken up any of these opportunities yet in their school journey, it is never
too late. As our students continue to develop their intellect, discover
new passions and new skills, we would encourage them to try new
co-curricular activities and continue to work at those activities that they
have already developed a passion for.
It is in developing the whole person that your young adult will fully
prepare for what our College mission statement calls “a life of faith and
service so that God can be glorified in the world”.
For further information please contact Senior School reception ‘The
Hub’ during College hours for assistance.
