The quality of classes I have taken since joining PruCA has been
great, and I’m very impressed with all the teachers – particularly Cindi
Hagley’s sessions! The ease of configuring - and Cindi’s mastery of it
all - has allowed me to explore all of the possibilities. I’m getting a lot
more involved with my own website so that my clients can get infor-
mation, communicate and easily find me on the Internet.

TECH TIPS: Let’s Get Social
Last week we promised to say a few words about Facebook.
It’s social media folks – it’s not your personal MLS.
Guess what? When most folks see a listing on Facebook, they’re going to delete you from their news feeds. Anna Campbell from the Pleasanton office, and Mona Koussa from San Ramon both do a great job with Facebook – providing
relevant content for the communities in which they serve.
See their pages in action here:

Provide content that is thought provoking – get your friends to talk amongst themselves. Eventually they’ll talk about how
great you are. And that means business.
On Our Family:
I am always amazed at how much support we get as agents from Gretchen Pearson, our President, Visionary and Friend at the helm of
our Prudential offices.
I love the ―out of the box‖ thinking, creating opportunities like RockTALK to make us feel connected even though we are growing by leaps and bounds! I might not know a lot of the agents in other offices, but we share a common bond… being a part of Gretchen’s Prudential Family. I
couldn’t be more proud!
Pam Rechter, Castro Valley Uptown
On RockTALK:
What a cutting edge way to communicate good ideas. I read each issue
in full. Going to redirect my QR code to my mobile website.

On Our Training:
Gobstopper Update
Preparations are underway for our next Gob-
stopper delight, coming out in early October.
This month will be PruCA branded batteries,
sent to the clients of all those agents who
use our in-house Escrow Coordination de-
partment—just in time for the time change! The Gobstopper auto-
matically send follow-up goodies from you to your clients at desig-
nated times throughout the year. The program is designed to
make you stick to your clients' minds long after transactions have
ended, increasing your opportunities for repeat or referral busi-
ness. Questions? Contact [email protected].

The Prudential 2012 Spirit of Community Awards
APPLICATION DEADLINE: NOVEMBER 1ST
The application period for the 17th year of The Prudential Spirit of Community Awards is officially open. And once again, Prudential is looking for young people across the country who have distin-guished themselves through volunteer activities in their communi-ties. The Prudential Spirit of Community Awards were created in 1995 to recognize students in middle and high school grades who have demonstrated exemplary community service. Nearly 100,000 young people have been honored with Prudential Spirit of Com-munity Awards over the past 16 years! Check out details on the informational flyer and download the application instruction sheet. If you know of any young people who should be considered for a 2012 Prudential Spirit of Community Award, please encourage them to apply. This is an effective way to enhance your relationships within your community, as well as a personally rewarding experience.
