BEST PRACTICES
Don’t just mimic, look to improve, eliminate and simplify. Obvious, butsmaller time-consuming tasks shouldbe included to gain momentum
TRANSFORMHave clear objectives and expectedachievements in mind for the automationjourney, be realistic with timelines, outcomes and requirements. Plan how tooptimize the utilization of the futurehuman workforce.
WHY WHAT WHEN Identify and engage with keystakeholders, decision makers andinfluencers clearly from the start andgauge expectations.
ENGAGEMENT
Confirm an appropriate IT securitypolicy for the proof of concept andautomation roadmap and determinewho and how they will manage thefuture digital workforce.
OPERATING MODELEnsure tasks and processes are properlyassessed for automation suitabilitybefore selection and don’t underestimatethe complexity and unstructured natureof manual, human activity.
SUITABILITYWith a growing number of vendor optionsand capabilities, be sure to carefullymatch the RPA solution to your specificautomation needs. Other importantfactors to consider include maintenance, upgrades, product maturity and training.
