Notes:Robinia pseudoacacia is native inIndiana, but probably only in thesoutheastern part of the state.

Petals 5, 15–25 mm long, white; calyx irregu-larly 5-toothed; stamens 10; ovary 1. BloomsMay 9–June 13.

Tree to 25 m. Woods, woods margins, roadsides.

Spines to 2 cm, usuallypresent at bases of leaves.

Inflorescence to 20 cm;leaf to 40 cm.
