Acts2:12-21(ESV)12Andallwereamazedandperplexed,sayingtooneanother,“Whatdoesthismean?”13Butothersmockingsaid,“Theyarefilledwithnewwine.”14ButPeter,standingwiththeeleven,lifteduphisvoiceandaddressedthem:“MenofJudeaandallwhodwellinJerusalem,letthisbeknowntoyou,andgiveeartomywords.15Forthesepeoplearenotdrunk,asyousuppose,sinceitisonlythethirdhouroftheday.16ButthisiswhatwasutteredthroughtheprophetJoel:17“‘Andinthelastdaysitshallbe,Goddeclares,thatIwillpouroutmySpiritonallflesh,andyoursonsandyourdaughtersshallprophesy,andyouryoungmenshallseevisions,andyouroldmenshalldreamdreams;18evenonmymaleservantsandfemaleservantsinthosedaysIwillpouroutmySpirit,andtheyshallprophesy.19AndIwillshowwondersintheheavensaboveandsignsontheearthbelow,blood,andfire,andvaporofsmoke;20thesunshallbeturnedtodarknessandthemoontoblood,beforethedayoftheLordcomes,thegreatandmagnificentday.21AnditshallcometopassthateveryonewhocallsuponthenameoftheLordshallbesaved.’

yourselvesareseeingandhearing.34ForDaviddidnotascendintotheheavens,buthehimselfsays,“‘TheLordsaidtomyLord,“Sitatmyrighthand,35untilImakeyourenemiesyourfootstool.”’36LetallthehouseofIsraelthereforeknowforcertainthatGodhasmadehimbothLordandChrist,thisJesuswhomyoucrucified.”37Nowwhentheyheardthistheywerecuttotheheart,andsaidtoPeterandtherestoftheapostles,“Brothers,whatshallwedo?” John16:8(ESV)hewillconvicttheworldconcerningsinandrighteousnessandjudgment:
UNTIL WE RECOGNIZE OUR OWN SINFUL BROKENNESS, WE WILL
NEVER SEE OUR NEED FOR JESUS TO BE OUR LORD AND SAVIOR
Acts2:38-39(ESV)38AndPetersaidtothem,“Repentandbebaptizedeveryoneof you in thenameof JesusChrist for the forgivenessof your sins,andyouwillreceivethegiftoftheHolySpirit.39Forthepromiseisforyouandforyourchildrenandforallwhoarefaroff,everyonewhomtheLordourGodcallstohimself.”

o Peter had great power to go with his great faith o Peter had great courage to go with his devotion o Peter had a great discipline to go with his great desire
