“Thank you for your ongoing support of Our Lady’s School!
Last Spring, a needs assessment iden fied a cri cal priority at OLS. Ninety-five percent of the par cipants feel building a gym is the greatest need facing the school. Increasing the OLS Trust Fund for tui on assistance is a second priority that is most desired for our school. The final ini a ve in our master plan is conver ng Chamblee Hall into four addi onal classrooms. As a suppor ng parish, we would like to hear from you. This month we are conduc ng a planning study to determine whether there is enough support to accomplish some or all of these goals. The study will also help iden fy campaign leaders and do-nors, create a campaign plan and establish a realis c campaign goal. Please par cipate through a brief online survey. To complete the survey, go to www.steiergroup.com/survey, click on Our Lady’s School and entering the password: OLS. Also, our parish will give all parishioners an opportunity to par c-ipate in the study by comple ng a brief in-pew survey during the Masses on Oct. 26-27.

Prayer for Hurricane Safety
O God, Master of this passing world, hear the humble voices of your children. The Sea of Galilee obeyed your order and returned to its former quie-tude. You are still the Master of the land and sea. We live in the shadow of a danger over which we have no control: the Gulf, like a provoked and an-gry giant, can awake from its seeming lethargy and overstep its conventional boundaries, invade our land and spread chaos and disaster. During this hurricane season, we turn to You, O loving Father. Spare us from past tragedies whose memories are still so vivid and whose wounds seem to refuse to heal with the passing of time. O Virgin, Star of the Sea, Our Beloved Mother, we ask you to plead with your son in our behalf, so that spared from the calamities common to this ar-ea and animated with a true spirit of gratitude, we walk in the footsteps of your Divine Son to reach the heavenly Jerusalem where stormless eternity awaits us. Amen.
