JEAN CLArk, rHIA, CSHA, is the director of health information services, at Roper St. Francis Health Services in Charleston, SC. She is a past president of the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA), was named AHIMA’s 2000 Distinguished Member, and is the current vice president of the International Federation of Health Records Organizations. She is the author of five editions of Ongoing Records Review, five editions of Information Management: The Compliance Guide to JCAHO Standards, and contributing editor to Medical Records Briefing, all published by HCPro, Inc. LISA Eddy, rN, CPHQ, CSHA, is a senior consultant for The Greeley Company (a division of HCPro, Inc.) with more than 18 years of healthcare management and leadership experience with hospitals, physicians, and nurses nationwide. Applying her management and nursing experiences, she helps medical facilities and staffs develop solutions to their toughest problems. She has extensive expertise in Joint Commission and American Osteopathic Association accreditation and CMS surveys. She has consulted in the areas of NCQA and Utiliza-tion Review Accreditation Committee accreditation, corrective action plans for regulatory body deficiencies, Joint Commission requirements, credentialing, quality structure and redesign, healthcare leadership, performance improvement, healthcare education, quality management, medical staff compliance, and patient care operations. JOdI L. EISENbErg, mHA, CPHQ, CPmSm, CSHA, is program man-ager of accreditation and clinical compliance at Northwestern Memo-rial Hospital in Chicago. She is responsible for leading the full range of Joint Commission and other accreditation and regulatory compliance activities, including organization of continuous compliance activities for Joint Commission and other regulatory agencies. Additionally, eisenberg serves as an editorial advisor for briefings on the Joint commission, published by HCPro, Inc. PATrICIA PEJAkOVICH, rN, bSN, mPA, CPHQ, CSHA, is a senior consultant for The Greeley Company. She brings more than 25 years of management experience to her work with healthcare organizations across the nation.
