Aim of the REGPOT scheme

unlocking the research potential of less developed and peripheral regions of EU by improving the research capacities of highest quality centres

• supporting strategic partnerships with well established research groups elsewhere in the Union

• disseminating scientific information and results of research (conferences, workshops)

• facilitating communication between the centres having similar scientific interest and improving their responses to socio-economic needs of the country

• buying research equipment .
