1.0 ABOUT E-KIDS
E-KIDS is a brand from M/s. E-KIDS SOLUTION PRIVATE LIMITED which incorporates “Teach A
Man To Fish” concept with help of application oriented, academic project based ICT
(Information & Communication Technology) education to improve Students’ Skill. It brings
children, academics and computers together. The E-KIDS course is as captivating as it is

2.0 E-KIDS HOLIDAY CAMP OBJECTIVES:
The primary objective of the E-Camp is to help students use their summer holidays productively
by working on creative projects using the power of the technology. The camp will teach the

unlocking the creative potential of the child in a fun filled way.

MOVIE MAKER
It is a talent search program through a specialized holiday camp program. Students under different age group make their own movie on any topic & Win Exciting Prizes along with Certificates. This camp will introduce children to the world of multimedia. They will come to grips with the sophisticated software tools used and in the process create their own rhyme books, story books and movies along with music and special sound effects. More Computers to be assigned for the project. This kind of project to be continued during Saturdays & Sundays to carry forward the momentum and we can get students’ best performance.

5.0 PROJECT 2: SPOKEN E-KIDS ENGLISH: FOCUS ON READING SKILL
E-Kids’ Spoken E-English Phase-1 curriculum will focus phonics, rhyming words, simple preposition simple adjectives, sentence formation along with simple story telling in order to improve spoken English with more focus on figure of speech. Students will be asked to read their subject text books to verify the outcome. Focus will be on pronunciation, stress, syllables and grouping of words while reading.

To improve students’ Spoken English Skill – The first step is to improve reading skill with proper pronunciation technique.

Students’ Performance
Students enjoyed themselves. Overall students’ performance was good. We have removed stage fears by giving simple English Songs to perform. They enjoyed themselves while singing those songs. Students even customize the English Songs and form their own lyrics. They played a drama in English in order to showcase their talent.

6.0 PROJECT 3: EMBOSSING PAINTINGS
For budding painters as well as anyone who likes to see their painting live up the canvas, emboss painting is an excellent art to chart a new path. Not only does it stimulate the creativity but it also excites the visual senses. Embossing gives a partial 3D character to the image which is achieved by raising or depressing the surface. This makes the picture come to life as there is more depth in it. In emboss painting the artist not only creates the image but also the canvas. This requires meticulous detail as the canvas highlights the image, as opposed to the normal canvas whose only role is to act as a surface for the painting to sit. Emboss painting can likewise be done on soft metal to great effect.

Before the start of the project, we underestimate these students that they might not do well in the activity based worksheets. We wanted to tone down the complexity. However the students are excellent in understanding these kinds of intellectual projects and did very well during the project. We, E-kids Team personally admire the students’ performance.

8.0 PROJECT 5: E-KIDS MULTILINGUAL
Multilingualism is the art and act of using, or promoting the use of, multiple languages, either by an individual speaker or by a community of speakers. Multilingual speakers number monolingual speakers in the world's population. Multilingualism is becoming a social phenomenon governed by the needs of globalization, cultural openness. Multiple languages is getting more and more frequent, and triggering therefore the need to acquire more and more languages.

To introduce students a new language, the multilingual project is implemented. Spanish Language is introduced to the children.

Students’ Performance
Children found that learning Spanish is a new experience for them. All the students are excited and eager to learn and speak Spanish. Students enjoyed themselves. Overall students’ performance was good. They learnt and sang the Spanish Songs. They made a play themselves in Spanish and performed.

9.0 PROJECT 6: VALUE EDUCATION
Today our schools are concentrating on delivering academic achievement to the students. Less concentration is given to their personal behaviour. The attitude of today's young generation made us think twice that the implementation of value and moral education is a must for the youth. Even the behaviour of the youth towards the elders in discourteous ways is really worrisome. From their childhood parents & teachers should give proper guidance. E-Kids is committed to implement E-KIDS LIFE SKILL COURSES to make the students aware about the importance of value education from the prior stages of development.
Topic Covered in Value Education Category : BULLYING Bullying a common problem that happens to many people – young people and grownups. Bullying is when people hurt or upset you by being cruel, threatening you, calling you names, spreading rumours about you, making you look silly or even just ignoring you. E-Kids focus on understanding bullies, Tips for dealing with bullies, what does bully means, are you a bully? Etc

10.0 REPORT ON GRAND FINALE E-KIDS TCS MAITREE CAMP
E-KIDS TCS MAITREE CAMP program’s grand finale was conducted on 16th
June 2012 at 4.00 pm at Nainar Kuppam, Uthandi.
Children showed their talents and skill whatever they acquired during the
15 days long camp program which was very well appreciated by the village
people and village council members
Mrs. Sangeetha Fredy, Director, E-Kids Solution Private Limited and
Mr. Evarius Fernando, Co-ordinator cum Chief Editor of Bharathar Malar
