REMOTE CLEANING & INSPECTION OF PROCESS VESSELS
Personnel entering inside process vessels require extensive activities prior to the actual inspection itself, to make the vessel safe to enter. After the inspection is done, everything has to be put back in place and tested. On many offshore and onshore in-stallations, such operations can only be done when production is shut down and thus drives up the cost significantly.
Our Telbot® Robotic Arm for internal cleaning & inspection eliminates or significantly reduces all of these cost elements.
The robotic arm is remotely operated and can be pre-programmed to access specific areas inside ves-sel. All positions are registered by the remote soft-ware application and can be automatically repeated. The arm is mechanically driven; all electrical motors are in the main unit outside the vessel when the robotic arm has been installed. The arm movement will stop automatically if camera or flushing nozzle is positioned within a defined distance from obstacles/surface inside vessel.
SOME OPERATIONAL SPECIFIATIONS• Max. inside range of Telbot® arm: 6 meter / 20 feet • Max. height of fall (Telbot® arm): 5 meter / 16.5 feet• Max. tank diameter: 4 meter / 13 feet• Water pressure: 100 - 120 bar (max 150)• Water max flow: 17 l/min.• Nozzle angle variaton: 160 degrees
ATEX CERTIFICATION• Outside vessel: zone 1 / category 2• Inside vessel: zone 0 /category 1 for Telbot®,
zone 1 / category 2 for camera.
