An Honest Boy
hen
people
find something
valuable
and
return it to
its
owner,
they
are
often given
a
reward.
This
is
because the
person
not only found what
was
lost
but
also spent
time to
find
its
ow e,{ or
take
it
to the
police
station.
There
was
once
a
young
boy who found
a
woman's
purse
in
a
shopping
center.
Inside
the
purse
there was
some
money
and the
woman's
driver's
license.
Her
name and address
were
printed
on
the
license, so
the boy
knew
where she
lived. That
evening
he
went
to
her house
and
knocked
-on
her
door.
When
she
opened
it,
he
said,
"I
found
your purse,"
and
handed
it
to her.
"Thank
you
very much,"
she
said.
She opened
her
purse
and
took
out
all
the money.
She
wanted
to
give
the boy
a
small reward
but there were
only
$20
bilis in
the
purse
and
she thought
that
$20
was
too much to
give
the boy.
"I'm
so
sony,"
she said,
"but
I
don't
have
any
small change to
give
you."
The
boy said,'oThat's
all right," and
went
away.
A
few
days
later
he
found
another
woman's
purse.
It
also had
her
driver's
license
in
it,
so
he
knew
where
she lived.
He went
to
her
house
and said,
"I
found your purse,"
and handed it
to
her.
"Thank
you
very much,"
she said. She
opened
her
purse
and
took
out
her
money.
"That's
strange,"
she said.
"Before
I lost my
purse
I
had a
$100
bill and a
$20
bill
in
it. Now
I have
a
$100
bill,
a
$10
bill
and
two
$5
bills."
"Yes,"
the
boy
said, and
smiled.

Hi Tommy,
How
are
you?
l've
been really
busy.
l've
had tests and
had
to
study
hard
for
the
past
three
weeks.
Then
after the test,
there was
the

Soccer Championship. I
play
for my
school, so I had to

for
an
hour
every day,
l'm
glad
to
tell
you
that
I
passed
my
tests. Unfortunately, my team
didn't
win
the championship
but
I scored
one
of
our
two
goals.
We
lost 3:2. lt was
a
good
game.
What have
you
been doing?
Have
you
seen
any
good
movies
or
read
any
good
books?
Have
you

I haven't

for

I've
been
so
busy, But maybe I can
go
with
my
friend to
play
some
video

this
weekend.
I wish
you

join
us.

The lawyer looked

"I'm

"I

"You

"That's

the lawyer

"OK,"
the

Street maps

Scrabble
crabble
is
a
crossword
game.
There is a board,
a bag
f-1r11
of
letter tiles,
and
smaltr
raeks
to
put
the tiles
on.
Letters
like
Q,
X, and
Z
are
not common
in
English words.
They
ard
worth more
points
than
common
letters
like
E,
S,
and
N.
For example,
"E"
is worth
only
I
point
and
there
are
many
"E"
tiles.
The
letter
"Q"
is worth 5
points
and
there
are
only
two
"Q"
tiles.
The
game
begins
with all
the
letter tiles
in
abag. This way,
the
players
can't see the tiles.
Each
player
takes
seven
tiles
and
puts
them on
the
rack
in front of
him or
her.
The
players
can't
see each
other's
tiles.
The
Scrabble
board
has
many
squares.
In turn,
players
try
to
make words
with
their tiles
and
put
them
on
the
squares.
The
words
can only
go
up
and
down or
left
to
right. The
first
player
puts
down
a
word,
and it
must cover the
star
in
the
center
of
the
board. The player must take new
tiles to
replace
the
ones
used
to
make
the word. The
next
player
must make
a
word using the
word
that
is
on
the
board.
To
find
the score,
players
add up the
value
of
each tile
in
a
word. For example, the
letters
"S",
"T",
and
"A"
are each
worth
1
point.
So
the word
"sat"
is
worth
3
points.
The
pink
and blue
squares have a special value, too.
For
example,
if
the
"Q"
tile
is
on
a
trlple-letter
square.
then
it
would
be
l5
points,
not
just
5
points.
If
the word
"sat"
is
on
a
double-word
square,
then it is worth 6
points.
The
game
continues until
all
the tiles
have been used
and
no player
can
make
any
new words on the board. The highest
score wins
