Pay special attention to key dates such as open house, graduation, etc for coverage ideas Publicize field trip opportunities by inviting the media. Send a press release showcasing partnership withcommunity location. Example: Field trip to science center/museum. High-light what students are learning outside of the school
If you are already using social media be sure to highlight your open houses and other community events and important messages that need to get outin a timely manner
Reach out to media outlets for PSA opportunities such as radio, print,interviews, etc. Build relationships with the neighborhood newspapers
Consider Direct Marketing. Though costly, targeted mailings such as postcards present another opportunity to capture your audience’s attentionand promotion your school
Consider writing a guest opinion piece for a newspaper
