Question 3: Short Essay on early 19th Century Art movements from Dada, Surrealism, Pop Art, Abstract Expressionism, Photo Realism/ Hyper Realism for 15 marks ( 1 ½ page essay) Section B: South African Art( 40 marks) Question 4 & 5: 2 x Paragraph type questions for 20 marks each on Early South African Art such as Gerard Sekotho, Pemba, Irma Stern, Preller & Battiss as well as South African Art from Resistance art such as Willie Bester and Jane Alexander. Total: 15 + 30 + 15 + 20 + 20 = 100 marks. 3 hour paper.
