Betty KeeseeBetty Jean Hillis Keesee, 82,
of Kingfisher, passed away onFriday, July 26, 2013.
A memorial service forfamily and friends will be heldat 2 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 1, atthe chapel at Cimarron Nurs-ing Center in Kingfisher.
Betty was born Oct. 23,1930, in Kingfisher, Okla., toCharles and Mona MapelHillis.
She graduated fromLawton Central High Schoolin 1948.
Betty married Avery C.Keesee on Dec. 23, 1949.
After living many years inOklahoma City, Betty andAvery moved to Kingfisherwhere they managed the golfcourse. Many fond memoriesand great friendships resultedfrom this time.
Betty Keesee was a lifetimemember of the Christian (Dis-ciples of Christ) Church and amember of the Elks Club.
Betty is survived by herthree daughters, MaryDrennan and husband Ron ofOklahoma City, Barbara Mossof Mustang, and RobynDarrough and husband Steveof Kingfisher; eight grandchil-dren, Jason Drennan, ScottCase, Ryan Case, BrandonMoss, Anne McCord, JamieMartin, Christopher Moss andSydney Darrough, and ninegreat-grandchildren.
She was preceded in deathby her parents, beloved hus-band Avery, son-in-law, RickMoss, and granddaughter,Amy Drennan.
The family wishes to thankthe staffs at both the King-fisher Hospital and theCimarron Nursing Center fortheir wonderful care of ourmother.

He was born Feb. 2, 1939,in Mangum to Clarence Taborand Maggie HarbourMcAlexander.
He married Louise Smithon July 15, 1972, in Miami.
He served in the U.S. ArmyNational Guard.
He was employed as aflight attendant at Vance AirForce Base, was a cross-coun-try truck driver, worked forBogart Oil for 11 years andretired from Kingfisher Con-struction Company.
He was a member of theKingfisher Knight Riders.
Survivors include five sons,Anthony “Mac”McAlexander, JohnnyMcAlexander and wifeCarmen, Jim Givens and wifeLeiann and Ronnie Givens andwife Shannon, all of King-fisher, and Jerry McAlexanderand wife Marny of Utah; twodaughters, Maggie Lumpkinand husband Bruce of King-fisher and Ronda Pierce andhusband Todd of Emporia,Kan.; 13 grandchildren, andseven great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in deathby his parents, one brother,one sister, one granddaugh-ter and two great-grandsons.

Tommy was born Fridaythe 13th of July 1945 to Fredand Ann Mitchell ofHennessey.
He passed away peacefullyon Monday, July 29, 2013, atthe age of 68.
Tommy was raised inHennessey where he partici-pated in Boy Scouts, FFA, waspresident of Teen Town, andhelped his family raise Shet-land Ponies.
He graduated fromHennessey High School in1963. He furthered his educa-tion at Okmulgee Tech wherehe became an electrical tech-nician.
Upon completing school,he owned and operatedMitchell Electric. He later wentto work for Pillsbury and thenFarmland in Enid. In the early80’s, he went to work as anelectrician and retired as aninstrument technician fromConoco with over 20 years ofservice.
Tommy enjoyed hunting,fishing, flying his power para-chute, snow skiing, countrywestern dancing, traveling,and spending time with hisgrandchildren.
Tommy is survived by hisson, Travis and wife DebbieMitchell of Okarche; twodaughters, Tava and husbandMark Batt of Dover andTimberly and husband JeffJech of Hennessey; five grand-children, Ian Mitchell, Kyleand Kassidy Batt, Jay andTaryn Jech; one brother, Jerryand wife Peggie Mitchell ofDuncan, Okla.; one sister, Janisand husband Ralph Schultz ofWeatherford, Texas; severalcousins, nieces, nephews, andmany lifelong friends.
He was preceded in deathby his parents, Fred and AnnMitchell of Hennessey, andone brother, Don Mitchell ofCalifornia.
