Articulation Points
As-Seen Ash-Sheen As-Saad Ad-Daad

As-Seenس
Seen is articulated from the tip of the tongue, being in-between the plates of two
top incisors and slightly above the lower incisors
Ash-Sheen ش
Sheen is Emitted from the middle of the tongue and the
roof of the mouth that lies opposite to it.
The articulation point of this letter is same like Jeem’s(ج)
articulation point
As-Saad ص
Saad is articulated from the tip of the tongue, being in-between the plates of two
top incisors and slightly above the lower incisors.
It’s articulation point is same like seen’s(س) and Zaa’s(ز)
articulation point
Ad-Daad ض
It is articulated from one of the sides or edges of the
tongue and what lies opposite to it of the upper molars left, or right. It can
also be articulated from both sides at the same time.
