Set up your breakout sessionsBreakout sessions allow you to place your meeting participants into smaller groups to collaborate and share ideas. They are easy to create and manage. You can even have participants assigned automatically. Inside of the breakout session is like being in a smaller meeting, complete with audio and video where participants can collaborate, share content, or even ask the host for help from the main session. The host can step in and out of each breakout room as needed and then bring everyone back into the main session at any time or after a scheduled time limit.
From the top menu bar, click Breakout and select
Enable Breakout Session.

Choose the number of sessions and whether
to assign participants automatically or
manually.
From the top menu bar, click Breakout and
select Breakout Session Assigments
Move and swap people between sessions by select and clicking the Move to session

clicking the + Add Session button.

Communicate with your breakout sessionsIf your participants need help inside breakout rooms, Host or Co-host can join the rooms individually to answer questions or clarify instructions. Host or Co-host can also send a message to let breakout session participants know about important updates.
From the Participants panel, click the Breakout
sessions tab to view each session and who is
assigned to them.
Host or Co-host to join a session, simply click the
blue Join link to the right of the Session Name.
If during a breakout session participants needs
help, they can send you a notification asking for
assistance. Just click the Join session or Join
Now button and you’re in.

click the Broadcast link at the Breakout
Menu or Breakout Session Assignments of
the panel.

From the Breakout menu, click Ask all to return.
As a host or cohost, you can send a
message to participants in all breakout
sessions, asking them to return to the main
meeting.
Participants can choose to return to the
main meeting or stay in the breakout
sessions.

Only one host or co-host can have the Breakout
session assignment dialog box open at a time or
From the Breakout menu, click End All Breakout
Sessions.
As a host or co-host, you can End all breakouts
sessions. When you end all breakout sessions,
everyone who's in a breakout session returns to the
Main meeting automatically.
Participants see a message like this when you click end all breakout sessions.

You can now assign a co-host to help you manage your Webex meetings and breakout sessions. Co-hosts can mute attendees, invite and remind participants, lock the room, manage the meeting lobby and more.Note: Host can assign a co-host more than once.

During a meeting, you can make any meeting participant the presenter. Any presenter can also pass to another meeting participant the presenter.• From the Meeting window, right-click the name of the participant in the Presenters window, click Change Role
to and click Presenter.• If sharing, click the You are sharing your screen button to display the Sharing menu. Click Assign > Make this
participant the presenter > the name of the participant.
Note: Install using the Cisco Webex Meeting Desktop Client for more available function.
