About the Book
The “Push and Pull Factors” book entails an investigation into the factors that are
responsible for attracting international students to UK Higher Education
Institutions. It talks about the marketing strategies used by the UK Higher
Education Institutions in their effort of attracting more international students to its
universities and colleges. The book also went ahead to examine the reasons on why
UK Higher Education Institutions appears to be the favourable destinations for
most international students coming from North America, South America, Europe,
Africa, Caribbean and Asia. The “Push and Pull Factors” book came into existence
as a result of 10 years extensive research by the author on the subject of UK
Higher Education Institutions in terms of what makes them unique from other
universities within the global environment. It was written in a concise manner for
easy understanding of the reader with no ambiguity and complications. It serves as
a vital contribution to the body of knowledge and is significant to the UK Higher
Education Institutions, the international students and the members of the public in
general. The book is a first of its kind to explore this particular area of study; and it
will be of immense help for conducting academic research such as writing of
reports, presentations, essays and dissertations.

About the Author
Michael Eberechukwu Obasi is a British Scholar, a motivational speaker, author, educational consultant and a PhD student in Entrepreneurship with over 10yrs experience in writing, editing and research; together with 6yrs experience in lecturing international business, international marketing & management. His qualifications includes: ABE Certificate in Business Administration, Diploma and Advanced Diploma in Business Management from South Chelsea College London; B.A (Hons) in Business Management from University of Wales United Kingdom; Post Graduate Diploma in Strategic Management from London Academy for Higher Education; Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management and Marketing Strategy from London School of Marketing; ABE Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management; Master of Business Administration in International Business from University of Sunderland United Kingdom and Master of Arts in Marketing and Innovation from Anglia Ruskin University Cambridge and Chelmsford United Kingdom.
He is an Associate Member Association of Business Executives United Kingdom (AMABE); Member Association of Business Practitioners United Kingdom (MABP); Member Chartered Management Institute United Kingdom (MCMI) and Member British Scholar Society United Kingdom (MBSS). He is also the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Embassy Educational Consultancy which is one of the leading educational consultancies in the United Kingdom; that specialises in offering advice and support to international students presently studying in the UK Higher Education Institutions as well as those wishing to study abroad. He has appeared as a guest speaker and a motivational speaker at London School of Marketing and Anglia Ruskin University. In 2013 he delivered an inspirational graduation speech at Anglia Ruskin University Convocation on behalf of his fellow graduates; in which he quoted world leaders such as Martin Luther King and Walt Disney while encouraging his fellow graduates to follow their dreams.
