Research Highlights
Academic performance of the university can be enhanced through effective teaching, research
and publication. Research publications facilitate to spread knowledge of the current findings to
scholars ,industrialists, community and student stakeholders. With these in mind Dr. P. Rajammal
Devadas the first Vice Chancellor of Avinashilngam Institute of Home and Higher Educatiion
university initiated to wide spread the treasure of knowledge to reach far reach location. It is a
multi disciplinary journal in embracing the various field like Home Science, Science,
Humanities, Social Sciences, Education , Special education ,Management, and Commerce. It is
a peer reviewed , in house quarterly journal. Started in 1991. This journal motivates and
encourages post graduate students, M. Phil and Ph. D scholars and faculty members from all
discipline to publish their research articles after reviewing by the concerned expert.
In order to commemorate the last 25 years , 2015 is earmarked and published a book entitled
“Island of Research Treasures” comprising research articles with ISBN 978-93-85604-02-7.
Padma Bushan Dr. T. S. Avinashilingam Ayya, the founder and First Chancellor of the
University has done impeccable activities to empower Women through education and research.

birthday anniversary.
