Four pillars that support the epik platform and distinguish us from other VoIP providers
Dedicated DS-1 or Fibre Point to Point ConnectionsMultiple Levels of
Redundancy
The world leader in hosted VOIP solutions and the chosen platform of telecom companies world wide including Bell and Telus, Korea Telecom, AT&T and others
The biggest name in IP technologies for over a decade, epik uses Cisco equipment for all of its endpoints, telephones, and POE switches.
A fully redundant and secure network:•Every part of epik’s network is duplicated by design. In
Montreal we have duplicate servers and power supplies. Our equipment is housed at Canix, Quebec’s biggest and most secure provider of hosting facilities with 24/7 power backup, and connections to all major carriers.
•Epik uses local termination facilities from both Bell Canada and Allstream, and two independent dedicated high speed connections from two separate providers to our main Toronto hub.
Dedicated point to point customer connectionsAll connections between our clients main facilities and epik’s network are via dedicated point to point synchronous high speed connections. Calls are not routed over the internet or less reliable DSL connections.
