Synopsis
Title of Project –
LPG GAS LEAKAGE DETECTOR SYSTEM
Objectives –
At present gas leakage becomes a serious problem in household, gas vehicles and
industries. Gas leakage leads to various accidents resulting into both financial loss as well
as human injuries. In context with these issues, the proposed design is able to detect and
control gas leakage. The system detects gas leakage and alerts the subscriber through
SMS and alarm. The system uses GSM module for sending SMS.
Requirements –
1. Microcontroller AT89C51
2. GSM Module
3. Buzzer
4. Gas Sensor MQ-6
Structure of System -
Working of System-
1. In case of gas leakage, MQ-6 sensor will sense the gas leakage and send the signalto microcontroller AT89C51
2. On receiving the signal about the Gas Leakage, AT89C51 will send necessarysignals to Buzzer System and GSM Module.
3. After receiving signal from Microcontroller the Buzzer system will get activatedand buzzer will start making noise to aware the user about gas leakage.
4. After receiving signal from Microcontroller the SMS sending system will also getactivated and will send the pre-defined message to a pre-defined mobile number.
