• Main aims: – Transfer and adapt an existing resource for use in PL,DE, RO (and UK)– Transfer by adapting the resource to be used as support in Content and Language
Integrated Learning (CLIL) within a vocational training context– Offer accompanying trainers’ notes to support the trainers in making effective use of
the materials– Provide a new dimension to the resource by mapping it to the European Framework

The resource• Based on a young man’s first work experience and how he utilises his
language skills• The learners follow the main character on his European adventures,
assisting him with information gathering, booking travel arrangements, problem solving, communicating with other business professionals and many other activities
• Wide range of uses:– Vocational focus (VET and VOLL)– Relevant and realistic– CLIL potential– Cross-curriculum and subject potential– Communicative approach– Interactive DVD – Additional activities (interactive web-based, IWB)– Extension activities
