ประวัตของDCS

การนาเอาระบบการวัดคมอัตโนมัตมาใช ในงานวัดปรมาณทางดานอตสาหกรรม อันไดแก อณหภม ,อัตราการไหลและความดัน เร มเกดข นราวๆ ป ค.ศ. 1930 ซ งใช ในกระบวนการกลั นน ามัน ลักษณะเดนของเทคโนโลย การวัดคมในช วงเวลาน คอ เคร องมอวัดคมจะตดตังท ห องท บรเวณแหลงของขบวนการผลต ซ งเปนอปกรณวัดคมท ทาดวยเคร องจักรกลขนาดใหญ



ววัฒนาการของระบบการควบค มอัตโนมัต

ช วง ค.ศ. 1950 ถง 1960คอ ช วงของการผนัเปล ยนเทคโนโลย

ช วง ค.ศ. 1950 ถง 1960 เทคโนโลยทางดานการวัดคมได รับการพัฒนาอยางมากควบค ไปกับการฟ นตัวทางดานเศรษฐกจของประเทศญ ป นท ม งไปส อตสาหกรรมเหลก, ปโตรเลยมและ

อตสาหกรรมส งทอ ลักษณะของการวัดคมจะประกอบดวยเคร องวัดคมแบบ Analog Single Loop Controller จานวนมาก โดยในช วงเร มต นด วย การใช ตัวควบคมแบบ Pneumatic ท ทางานดวยลม แตด วยความกาวหนาทางดานอเลคโทรนคส และขนาดของกระบวนการผลตท ขยายใหญข น อปกรณการวัดคมจงไดรับการพัฒนาจากระบบ Pneumatic ไปส ระบบอเลคทรอนคส มาโดยลาดับ

Set Point Control เน องจากคอมพวเตอรมสมรรถนะทางดานการคานวณท ดข น จงไดถกออกแบบใหทาหน าท คานวณหาเง อนไขท ดท สด (Optimum Process Conditions) ของ กระบวนการ การคานวณหาคาตัวแปรเปาหมาย (SV) ให แกเคร องควบคมแตละตัว โดยสถาปัตยกรรมท กลาวมาน เรยกวา Set Point Control หรอเรยกอกอยางหน งวา Supervisory Process Control

Direct Digital Control หรอ เรยกยอๆ วา DDC

ตอมาเม อประมาณป ค.ศ.1965 ได นาเอาคอมพวเตอรท มสมรรถนะในการคานวณสงๆ มาใช แทนเคร องควบคมแบบ Analog การควบคมน อาศ ัย DigitalComputer เพยงหนวยเดยว ควบคมกระบวนการแบบรวมศนย และรับผดชอบตอLoop การควบคมจานวนหลายรอย Loop เรยกสถาปัตยกรรมแบบน วา DirectDigital Control หรอ “DDC” แตปัญหาของการควบคมแบบ DDC เน องจากการล มเหลวของคอมพวเตอรท คาดไมถง ไดส งผลทาใหการปฏบัตการตอกระบวนการผลตหยดชะงักงัน (Plant Operation to a Halt) ดังนันการออกแบบด วยการส ารองอปกรณดังเช น CPU, อปกรณการ Back Up และอ นๆ จงกลายเปนส งจาเปนแตเม อคานงถงคาใช จายท จาเปนตองมส าหรับส ารองอปกรณจงมผลทาใหระบบDDC ไมสามารถแทนท ระบบการควบคมแบบ Analog ได ทังหมด เพราะมราคาแพงมากในตอนนัน

ค.ศ. 1975ปแหงการเร มตนของ DCS (Distributed Control System)

การกาเนดของ Microprocessor ในป ค.ศ. 1970 ได นาไปส ความเปล ยนแปลงในหลายสาข ารวมทังทาง ด านวศวกรรมวัดคมดวย ราค าของMicroprocessor ท ลดลง กอปรกับสมรรถนะท เพ มสงข นจงเปนผลใหระบบควบคมท ใช เพยงระบบควบคมด วยคอมพวเตอร 1 หนวย ควบคมแบบรวมศนย (เพราะตด

ปัญหาในดานราคาของ processor)สามารถท จะเปนระบบการควบคมแบบกระจายศนย Chip Microprocessor กระจายไปอย ตามแตละ Station ส อสารกันกับOperator Station ทาง Terminal ของจอภาพเพ อใช ในการเฝาคมและปฏบัตการหลังจากป ค.ศ. 1975 บรรดาผ ผลตท ัวโลกรวมทังประเทศญ ป นได เร มขยายการประยกต ตอการควบคมแบบ Batch และการควบคมลาดับขั น (Batch andSequence Control)
